I wouldn´t know what to do without you and your amazing site 🙂
      thanks!
loved this video! Matt is gorgeous, as usual!

    2. Debbie says:

I second everything you said Ally!

    3. Sab says:

Thanks so much for all the vids, Kelly. 😀

    4. Carol A says:

I kind of wish Matt would just say thank you when someone compliments him instead of using the I paid them to say that. I am sure he gets tired of people always mentioning how beautiful he is, but it sure is true.

    5. Lynda says:

It’s got to be hard to keep your feet on the ground when so many people are telling you how awesome and beautiful you are. I’m sure he’s just trying to stay sane.

    6. Dev says:

I missed this last night. Thanks for the video, Kelly.

@Lynda I think you’re correct. It is very hard to stay grounded in Hollywood and to not let all the flattery go to one’s head.

    7. Laura says:

Carol, I hear ya. I get tired of hearing him say it over and over, but as Lynda and Dev said, it’s his way of staying grounded and not letting it go to his head. Of course he knows what we all/the universe thinks of him. He’s well aware and just needs to try to stay sane and let it roll off his back. I’d rather hear him repeat that over and over than have him start to come off as a pompous jerk during some upcoming interview (which I can’t imagine would ever really happen).

    8. Sab says:

Personally I have no problem with Matt’s humorous deflection of the compliments about his looks. Dollars to donuts, if he didn’t say something like that, he’d have people saying he was vain or conceited (which I know we know is the furthest thing from the truth, but some people are mean).

I think the compliments in a public setting make him uncomfortable, and this is his way of dealing with them, so it’s fine with me. I suspect that if a genuine fan complimented him on a one-to-one basis, he’d be gracious with a ‘Thank you.’

It’s extraordinary, but I’ve never really seen Matt put a foot wrong in the way he deals with press or fans.

    9. Melissa says:

I’m not bothered by Matt’s reflexive response to deflect attention from his looks. I understand it for what it is.

Sab makes an excellent point that if he didn’t respond that way, there would be people who would assume he was conceited about his looks. Any time Matt does an interview there may be new viewers who have never seen him in that situation before.
