The Playlist has published the first clip from Walking Out, the Alex and Andrew J. Smith movie about a father and son who must fight to survive, starred by Matt Bomer, Josh Wiggins, Bill Pullman and Lily Gladstone.

The Sundance Film Festival runs from January 19-29, 2017.
The lineup for the 2016 Sundance Film Festival was unveiled last week. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort January 19-29.
Among the films taking part of the US Dramatic Competition is Walking Out, that will also have its world premiere.

The Salt company has published on their website the first trailer for Matt’s next project Walking Out.
a typical teenage urbanite travels to rural montana to go hunting with his estranged “off-the-grid” father. as they ascend deep into the wilderness, father and son struggle to connect on any level. when an unexpected encounter with a grizzly bear leaves them both with serious injuries, the boy must carry his father to safety if they are to survive.
The film is based on the short story by David Quammen that can be found on his book Blood Line: Stories of Fathers & Sons. Matt finished filming back in February, and the film is currently in post production. Watch the trailer below:

Matt finished a week ago the shooting of “Walking Out” a film written and directed by Alex and Andrew Smith and co-starred by Bill Pullman (Independence Day) and Josh Wiggins (Max). Wiggins plays a city teen who travels to Montana to go hunting with his estranged father only for the strained trip to become a battle for survival when they encounter a grizzly bear.
The film is based on the short story by David Quammen that can be found on his book Blood Line: Stories of Fathers & Sons.
Producers are Brunson Green of Harbinger Pictures and Laura Ivey of Co-Op Entertainment, with cooperation from the State of Montana’s Big Sky Film Grant. The Salt Company is handling international sales and will introduce the project at the upcoming EFM.
