“Space Station 76” in SXSW Film 2014 Lineup

Matt’s new film “Space Station 76” will be premiering at SXSW Film 2014 between March 7-15, 2014 in Austin, TX. For more information about attending, please click here.

SPACE STATION 76 is a comedic drama about a group of people (and several robots) living on a space station in a 1970’s-version of the future. When a new Assistant Captain arrives, she inadvertently ignites tensions among the crew, prompting them to confront their darkest secrets. Barely contained lust, jealousy, and anger all bubble to the surface, becoming just as dangerous as the asteroid that’s heading right for them.

  1. Would never go see something like this, but just because MATT is in it, I CAN’T WAIT to see it! 😀
As far as I’m concerned, he makes anything worthwhile watching and not just because he is the most magnificent speciman of a male to ever walk planet earth (in my humble opinion, of course) but because he is just an incredibly talented actor with such great range and no matter the role he plays, he just seems to have this magnetism about him and I simply cannot tear my eyes away from the screen while he’s on it!

He has this amazing ability which actually, I’ve noticed, very few actors manage to pull off very well – where the smallest, teeniest inflection of his face (be it eyes, eyebrow, mouth, or jaw muscle, etc.) communicates volumes – it’s incredible – he also just brings so much to each role and brings out so much more of the character he plays than most actors manage to do.

It’s always such a treat watching him work. I’m excited to ‘tag along’ for the journey and see just how far he’s going to go – I’m confident it won’t be very long at all before he’s a highly respected top Hollywood A-list actor. (Just as long as he keeps staying away from movies like “50 Shades of Grey”. Sorry 50 Shades fans!).
As much as I agree he looks the epitome of Christian Grey, I’m glad Matt had the sense to steer clear of the movie.

And just because it is the finale week of White Collar Season 5 – this is my rather lengthy soliloquy to say adios Neal Caffrey – sniff, sniff, until next time… 😉

  2. I would like to Kelly for the time being to say a big thank you, they gave us (, video-clips..) supplied by the White Collar seasons with as much material and made available. We could always enjoy it. Now it is subsequently with the new projects of Matt without interruption. Thank you so much..

Cands you, I can only agree again. You have the opinion of many in words. He is a great actor with even unsuspected talents. His charisma, attraction and fascination captures. Nevertheless, a movie or a series should not necessarily correspond to what we imagine us – he is supported.

What the “Christian Grey” refers role, I am also very happy that he does not play this.
It is for his career certainly no disadvantage, on the contrary, a reasonable beneficial decision.

Some have apparently still not got it.
    Let them.

  3. Cands, you took the words out of my mouth. His acting style is so complete and so nuanced yet subtle that mark my words, he will eventually join the league of legendary actors, not stars, but real actors. I just hope stupid prejudices don’t keep him from reaching the heights he is capable of. Can’t wait for all the projects he has in the pipeline! and many many more to come!
