Hi everyone! I’m flying to NYC tonight and will be meeting my best friend there. I’ve always wanted to visit NYC, so I’m really excited about this trip. By this time you are already in NYC and having a great time I am sure. It has been a long time since I was in the city but I loved it. I would love it more now that Matt is in it too. Saw Matt and Tim this afternoon at the Brooklyn Navy Yard! He gave me a hug and met my best friend as well. He had to leave right away to go back on set, so we only got to see him for about a minute. How funny since my first meeting with him was 2 minutes! *lol* The funny thing is, if we had gotten there 1 minute later, we would have totally missed him. There was a chance he may have come back, so we walked around the block a few times and chatted with some of the crew for a few hours. Matt made sure we were taken care of while he was gone. It was pouring down rain today and the crew even gave me an umbrella to use. So sweet! We saw Tim not long after Matt before he got in a van to leave too. I was holding my camera in my hand and gave him a smile. He was halfway in when he said “Do you want a picture?” I made a funny pouty face and said “yes!” I told him that I run Matt’s website and that I help on his website TimDeKay.org as well. I also told him that I saw him at Paleyfest but didn’t get a chance to meet him. I had my eyes closed for my photo, but my best friend’s turned out well. I’ll tweet her photo and may or may not post mine because I look funny! We’ll be meeting up with them this week again, so look out for more photos!

Aw, I am so incredibly jealous right now. 😉 But you totally earned meeting both Matt and Tim. Wish it could have been longer! Crossing fingers that you’ll run into them again. I still remember when I met Chris Marquette in person; we were so lucky that we got to hang out on the set the whole day when we did, and that Chris made sure to come talk to us whenever he could. We even got a half hour interview with him for our website. It was an incredible day!
I’ve been meaning to go to New York for a while now (I’m German), and I may be flying there with one of my friends next year. Just hope White Collar is still shooting then, because, waaaaaahhh, I wanna be see the guys on set too!! 😀
I believe I can safely say that we are all pea green with envy that you have gotten to meet Tim and Matt and that we hope your stay in NY is more fun than you imagined!

Okay, I can honestly say that I am jealous because Matt and Tim and both seem nice and good people should have good things happen to them more often in life. I am so glad the show is still doing well.

Kelly, I hope your not having and invite to the set was because it was requested and denied,,,unless they are so determined to keep the story underwraps right now that they didn’t want to risk a leak. Your work on this site has been truly amazing and any actor should be proud of having someone like you doing this for him or her. I sure hope any disappointment you may have had on this trip with regards to meeting with the WC folks doesn’t reflect on Matt personally. I can’t imagine him being anything but accomodating if under his control.
Ok, confused, did they not allow Kelly on the set?
I made it back to Oregon safely! It was so much fun to visit NYC, but I’m glad to be back home too. Regarding the set, I tried calling Silvercup Studios twice, told them who I was, and didn’t get anywhere with them. They said they would call me back and never did. I also tried contacting Jeff, but he must have been busy because he never responded. I didn’t have any one on one time with Matt either, so I’m a little bummed. No worries though, I will get over it. I still had a wonderful time there.
Kelly – thanks for the update. Glad you had a great time in NYC, in spite of not getting on to the set, which is a shame. If you go to meet Matt again, you might consider contacting his PR ladies for an interview for this site; just a thought. Anyway, good that you’re safely back home.
